Julia Maria Pasch is working towards a new tonal understanding in violin making. Having reached the conclusion that merely copying instruments by masters such as Antonio Stradivari and Giuseppe Guarneri is an outdated practice, Julia Pasch shifts her focus towards a contemporary approach to the construction of her violins and violas. In doing so, she concentrates on the intensive tonal work between musician, violin maker and instrument in order to overcome the historical boundaries.
